Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Bosnia-Herzegovina
Upon the arrival with Fly Dubai to Sarajevo Airport, we offer our guests transfer to the hotel. After the settling at hotel, guests have free time to recuperate from the trip. We recommend visiting Sarajevo commercial centre Baščaršija. Dinner and overnight in hotel follow.

Day 2: Explore Sarajevo
After the breakfast, in the morning we organize Sarajevo City Tour. Led by experienced guides, guests will be introduced to Sarajevo, its history and its centre including Baščaršija, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque (16th century), Ferhadija street. Lunch is organized in Sarajevo’s Old Town. Free time follows and guests have the opportunity to explore the city by themselves. Dinner and overnight are organized at the hotel.

Day 3: Destruction of the ’90s
After the breakfast, guests will visit the War Museum in Sarajevo, where they will be explained and shown the extent of destruction that took place during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina 1992-1995. Sarajevo Siege Tour follows as one of the longest sieges in European history is explained by visiting the most important locations of the siege. Guests are transferred to Sarajevo’s suburb of Ilidža, located at the spring of Bosna river. At the beautiful natural environment, guests will have lunch. After the lunch and exploring spring of Bosna natural surrounding, guests will visit nearby Sarajevo tunnel of hope, underground passage beneath Sarajevo Airport, as the only entrance to Sarajevo during the siege. Dinner and overnight are organized in hotel.

Day 4: Bosnian Mountains
After the breakfast at the hotel, guests are transferred to small town of Konjic laying amidst Bosnian mountains. Upon the arrival, guests are settling at the four star hotel in Konjic. We offer various activities for the day:

– Rafting at Neretva river** – fantastic opportunity to experience rafting while enjoying the picturesque canyon of Neretva river. Rafting is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced rafters, children and adults.
– Trip to Boračko lake – mountain lake of Boračko is popular summer resort for the tourists visiting Herzegovina. Numerous photo opportunnities are available amidst the beautiful nature.
– Visit to ARK – nuclear bunker constructed during the ’70s for facilitating Yugoslav government during eventual nuclear war***

After the activity, lunch is organized in hotel in Konjic, after which free time in Konjic follows. We recommend visiting commercial district of the town, with focus on woodcarving and coppercarving artisan shops. Dinner and overnight are organized in the hotel.

Day 5: Ottoman Heritage – visit to Mostar
After the breakfast at the hotel, guests are transferred to Mostar, city in the south of Bosnia-Herzegovina. City with rich history and architecture from Ottoman and Austrohungarian period, it is the perfect spot to experience the contact of civilizations. Mostar City Tour is organized including sites as Karadjoz-beg mosque (16th century), Old Town and Old Bridge (16th century) where guests will witness famous dives of the bridge. Lunch is organized in the Old Town, and then guests have the opportunity to explore city on their own. Dinner and overnight are organized in hotel in Mostar.

Day 6: Discovering Herzegovina
After the breakfast at the hotel, guests are visiting Blagaj Tekke (15th century) and the beautiful carstic spring of river Buna. Lunch is organized in fish restaurant in Blagaj, village southeast of Mostar. After the lunch, free afternoon. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Mostar.

Day 7: Discovering Herzegovina
After the breakfast, morning visit to Počitelj follows. Small Ottoman town rich in historical architecture with the highlights as Haji Aliya Mosque (16th century) and medieval fortress (15th century). Lunch follows. Visit of Hutovo Blato Park of Natureafter the lunch. Hutovo Blato is natural bird reserve and guests are taken on a photo safari by boat passing through the seemingly endless marshes. After Hutovo Blato, visit to Kravice waterfalls is organized. Certainly one of the most beautiful spots in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kravice waterfalls provide excellent opportunity to relax in beautiful natural environment. Return to Mostar follows, and dinner is organized at the scenic restaurant Labirint placed in the centre of Mostar’s Old Town with a wonderful view of the Old Bridge. Traditional Bosnian music Sevdah is presented to the guests, after which each guest receives gift package, or free evening. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8: Back to Sarajevo
After the breakfast at hotel, transfer is organized to Sarajevo airport. Departure of guests.
