About the Illustration:
The illustration Midnight Theatre of Radimlja is a story about Bogomil thumb-stones and their stone sleepers. It all happens when the clock beats the midnight and the stone sleepers, like in a puppet theatre, are turning alive again reveling their customs, ritual and plays. In the main plan the stone sleeper is still on the Stecak (stone thumb), but as further we go we can see the stone sleepers leaving their homes and in the background the miracle is not a miracle anymore, because life is already happening. Radimlja near Stolac is the largest Necropolis of Stecci in Bosnia and Herzegovina and today UNESCO world heritage as well.
